Indeed, I rage quit my first job after spending 5 years at the same organization. In hindsight, I wish I had better tools at my disposal to work around my emotions. There isn't a day that I look back and wonder if there was a way I had handled it better. It also takes time to recover from a situation you wish had worked out differently. I thought I was over this but I repeated the same at my second job although I don't regret it as I felt it was a toxic environment( at least that's what my view is ). I wonder if this will repeat in my current job but I am a lot more aware of my thoughts and my perceived preconceptions, your article is definitely one that I would read and re-read before taking my next decision to stay or leave a job. Thank you.
